February 18, 2005   Extra Innings Tewksbury Opens

Tewksbury, MA – February 18, 2005 – Extra Innings - Tewksbury has opened for business. Merrimack Valley’s first and finest year round indoor baseball and indoor softball training center is located at 890 East Street Rear off of Lumber Lane in Tewksbury, MA. Extra Innings Tewksbury is a state of the art training facility with over 17,000 square feet, including seven indoor batting and pitching tunnels, a fully stocked Pro Shop, separate member’s training rooms and a birthday party area .

"We are so excited to be bringing a true year round training center to the baseball and softball players of the Merrimack Valley," said Steve Silva, co-owner of Extra Innings Tewksbury. "I am confident this facility will have a great impact on area ballplayers young and old by enabling them to practice the games they love all year long." 

The facility's tunnels are available for rental on a half-hour and hourly basis. Extra Innings Tewksbury will also offer private and group baseball and softball instruction as well as camps and clinics featuring its staff of former and current professional players, college all-stars and area high school and college coaches. 

November 19, 2004   Extra Innings Unveils "Play The Game" Equipment and Apparel Line

Tewksbury, MA – November 19, 2004 – Extra Innings, the Tewksbury, MA based indoor baseball and softball training facility, today unveiled the new Extra Innings brand of apparel and equipment. The Extra Innings product line is designed for baseball and softball players by people who play the game and is available only at Extra Innings Pro Shops.

The Extra Innings "Play The Game" apparel line features socks, hats, sliding pants, game pants, hitting shirts, coaches shirts and practice jackets. The equipment line features batting gloves, bat bags, balls and training devices.

Extra Innings socks, pants, equipment bags and batting gloves will be available on December 1, 2004. The rest of the line will be available after January 1, 2005.

November 15, 2004   Extra Innings Launches New Website 

Tewksbury, MA – November 26, 2004 – Extra Innings-Tewksbury, Greater Boston’s finest year round indoor baseball and softball training facility, today announced the launch of its website designed to meet the specific needs of its customers.

The website, offers each visitor access to detailed information on our facility and services along with enhanced content, navigation and usability. A shopping cart format will be used to allow our customers a safe and secure way for purchasing all of Extra Innings services online. The new Extra Innings website was developed by WebGreen IT.
